SEO & Content Marketing Manager

Due to rapid expansion, we are looking for a SEO and Content Marketing Manager to support a brilliant business whose aim is to deliver a complete learning solution connecting people by providing easy access to continuous learning and development. If you are passionate about understanding audiences, analysing analytics, building compelling messages and producing content that drives engagement and maximises traffic, then this role could be ideal! You will be part of a creative, hardworking, and close-knit team who strive to deliver high-quality marketing plans and campaigns - driving results for a range of products and services. It’s a visible role with lots of opportunity to get involved in building and implementing the SEO and content marketing strategy. You will be integral in supporting ambitious business growth plans and delivering on Marketing KPIs.
You will have:
- Proven experience as SEO and content manager/exec role
- Knowledge and understanding of standard and current SEO practices
- Experience in SEO reporting
- Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Search Console, Google Analytics, WebTrends)
- The ability to manage external suppliers and lead others in the team to implement strategy
- Great copywriting skills, whether a headline, email copy or social post; the individual will need to be able to write professional and persuasive copy
- Ability in understanding data and measurement tools to report back to the business in a strategic way
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS would be an advantage
You will:
- Be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies
- Write and create content for a variety of channels, including web, social and blogs
- Manage external SEO agencies and content specialists
- Work with other team member to coordinate content, design, social media, pay-per-click (PPC) and other activities
- Collect relevant data and reporting on traffic, rankings and report back to relevant stakeholders
- Be responsible for keyword research and implementing trending keyword strategy to drive more traffic
- Be able to review technical SEO issues and suggestions to make improvements and optimise website, landing pages and paid search copy
- Drive off-page optimisation projects
